Precision Periodontics
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Precision Periodontics & Implant Dentistry (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.precisioninperio.com, fill out one of our forms or call one of our offices, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request an appointment or send us a message through the website, we ask for your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number, preferred office, preferred way to be contacted, whether you are a new or existing patient, and anything you write in the message box. Referring dentists who use our online referral form provide the patient and practice details that form asks for.
Please do not send detailed medical or dental history, insurance numbers or other sensitive health information through the website. Our team will gather what is needed securely when we contact you or at your visit.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours automatically receives some technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information in the following ways:
- Google Analytics uses cookies to tell us how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed most. We use these reports in summary form to improve the website.
- Call tracking (CallRail) shows a phone number on the site that tells us how a caller found us, such as from a search engine or an ad. For calls to these numbers, CallRail logs the caller’s phone number, the time and the length of the call.
- Site statistics and security: our website records basic visit information, such as clicks on phone numbers, directions links and forms, and requests from search engines, to measure how the site is working and to protect it from misuse.
How we use your information
- To respond to your message, schedule appointments and answer your questions
- To process referrals from your dentist
- To send appointment reminders and, where you have agreed, other messages about our services
- To understand how the website is used and improve it
- To keep the website and our forms secure and free of spam
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number on our forms, you agree that Precision Periodontics may send you automated messages, including appointment and dental marketing messages, at that number. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and the practice, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Our website host and email delivery service, which store the website and deliver form messages to our team
- A spam-protection service, which checks form submissions (including the email and IP address) to block automated spam
- Google (Analytics and Maps) and CallRail, as described above
- ReferralLab, which provides the online form referring dentists use to send us patient referrals
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our patients, staff or others.
Your health information
Once you become a patient, the health information in your records is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and is handled as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. Please ask any of our offices for a copy.
Cookies and your choices
You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies; the site will still work. You can stop Google Analytics from using your visits with Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Pages with maps show Google Maps, which is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep information
We keep form messages and call information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide care and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
How we protect your information
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form messages is limited to the staff who need them. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. A parent or guardian should contact us on a child’s behalf.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as patient-financing companies (CareCredit, Cherry) and Google reviews. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
