Dr. Rashmi Ganesh

Dr. Ganesh earned a dental degree in Chennai, India, before relocating to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in Biomaterials at SUNY Buffalo. She then completed her specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University), where she received advanced training in periodontal disease management, soft tissue and bone regeneration, and implant dentistry.

Since 2016, Dr. Ganesh has been providing comprehensive periodontal and implant care throughout Northern Virginia. She is passionate about preserving natural teeth whenever possible through prevention, periodontal therapy, and regenerative procedures. When tooth replacement becomes necessary, she utilizes evidence-based implant techniques to restore function, comfort, and long-term oral health.

Dr. Ganesh’s philosophy of care is centered on respect, communication, and trust. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and comfortable throughout their treatment experience. Her clinical areas of expertise include periodontal disease treatment, soft tissue grafting, bone regeneration, ridge preservation, and dental implant therapy, with a focus on predictable outcomes, minimally invasive techniques, and patient comfort.

Dr. Ganesh remains committed to staying at the forefront of advances in periodontics and implant dentistry through continuing education, professional meetings, and ongoing review of evidence-based research. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.
