Dr. Dima Lakkis received her DDS with honors in 2006. She completed her training in Periodontics and a Master of Science at Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. She is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Lakkis performs a wide range of non-surgical and surgical treatments for the management of periodontal disease. She has extensive training in cosmetic procedures and implant dentistry. She maintains active membership in numerous dental organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She believes that Periodontology is a significant part of overall systemic health. She published an article in the Journal of Periodontology highlighting this relationship.
