You walk out with a full set of fixed temporary teeth attached to newly placed implants — functional and natural-looking. These temporary teeth are worn during the three to six month healing period while your implants integrate with the bone. Your permanent prosthesis (typically zirconia) is fabricated and delivered once integration is confirmed.

Teeth in a Day describes the timeline — receiving functional teeth the same day as implant placement. All-on-4 describes the technique — using four strategically angled implants to support a full-arch prosthesis. All-on-4 is the most common method used to achieve Teeth in a Day, though some protocols use five or six implants.

Good candidates have sufficient bone density for immediate implant stability (measured during surgery with torque values), are in reasonable overall health, and ideally are non-smokers. Patients with severely compromised bone may need bone grafting first and a traditional staged approach. A CBCT scan and comprehensive evaluation determine candidacy.

For the first six to eight weeks, a soft-food diet is essential to allow the implants to integrate without excessive force. Smoothies, eggs, pasta, fish, and well-cooked vegetables are encouraged. Hard, crunchy, and sticky foods must be avoided until your permanent prosthesis is delivered. After that, you can eat virtually anything.
